Mocked mercilessly by her older brother for her eccentricity and the large glasses that sit upon her tiny head, Tess desperately wants to escape her lonely life. When she finds a mysterious marble, Tess is swept into a strange world where a walrus-like creature named Zuchary rules with kindness. When Zuchary reaches out to Tess for assistance, he promises to help her return home.
